This monoblock comfortably makes in excess of 1500 watts of 20Hz to 20kHz power at less than 1% THD+N, at 1 Ohm. The SS1500 can drive subwoofers and multiple mid\/high speaker combinations with sound quality exceeding the current crop of low cost full bridge amplifiers.<\/p>\n<p>The design starts with our DD style strong power supply, using a high efficiency toroidal transformer coupled to an oversized cap bank and high current mosfets.
